How Little Warriors grow

Four ways Little Warriors grow

Games and structure help kids grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.

  • Physically

    Balance, coordination and strength

Kicks, stances and active games build the coordination and body control that help with every sport and playground.

  • Emotionally

    Confidence and self-control

Kids learn to try new things, handle a tough moment and stay calm when it counts.

  • Intellectually

    Focus and listening

Remembering moves and following directions trains the attention span kids need for school.

  • Socially

    Friends and teamwork

Partner drills and team games teach kids to take turns, cheer each other on and make friends.

Goals they can see

Belts, missions and big wins

Little kids light up when they can see their progress. At Fusion, every child works toward their next belt, and a life skills program is included at no extra cost.

Little Warriors questions, answered

Still wondering? Call (309) 229-1551 and talk to a coach.

Is 5 too young for martial arts?

Not at all. Little Warriors is built just for 5 and 6-year-olds, with short drills, games and lots of encouragement. Kids learn at their own pace with kids their own age.

My child is shy. Will they be okay?

Yes. Shy kids are some of the students Fusion loves helping most. Coaches help them feel safe first, and confidence grows from small wins.

Will martial arts make my child aggressive?

No. Respect and self-control come first in every class. Fusion includes a life skills program at no extra cost, and kids complete missions to earn their next rank.

What if my child gets bored or nervous trying new things?

Fusion checks in with families regularly to make sure each child is challenged the right way, and can move them to a better-fit group if needed.

What happens when my child turns 7?

Little Warriors move up to Youth Warriors (ages 7 to 13), with bigger goals, new skills and the same coaches.
